I made a 3D game for Halloween Jam 2021. And what’s a better way to start November than by checking this out?
Year: 2021
Re: Hacking The Leaderboards
Well there we are. I’ve been backstabbed (/s) by former partner Developer Doge. He’s basically created a tutorial for how to cheat on the Unipop leaderboards. But what can we learn from this?
Zero Gravity
The theme for the 18th libGDX jam was zero gravity! And oh boy, is there a solid number of entries. As with every jam, it’s a real mixed bag of high-quality stuff and… stuff.
OLED Switch
As someone who keeps things low-end and hasn’t developed so much as a “hello world” for the Nintendo Switch, this doesn’t particularly concern me, but I’d like to acknowledge that announcement of the new Switch model — the one with the OLED display.
oh no i’m stuck ._.
The theme for the 6th Game Breakers Toolkit jam was oh no i’m stuck ._. and, oh boy, have people been delivering. Ratings are currently open for the following games, should you wish to ruin the results.
Balls
The theme for the 17th libGDX jam was balls! It’s speculated that the only reason this theme won is because it was in the choices list twice but only in the results once. Possibly votes for both “balls” suggestions counted towards it. Fair or not, this is what we got!
Floating Rotation Button
And the first thing I upload to the Play Store under this name isn’t even a game. Anyway, if you’re annoyed by rotation button shenanigans in the new Androids and are rooted, you can check out me app. Yeah, it appeals to next to no-one.
1 Button
What’s that? Another jam entry? This time for a different jam. The themes were 1-bit (pure black and white) and one button!
So I made a game where you have to press as many 1 buttons as you can in a minute. The resolution is a mere 80×80, haha.
Growing Alice
If anyone wants to play my second jam entry, it’s linked below.
