The theme for the 17th libGDX jam was balls! It’s speculated that the only reason this theme won is because it was in the choices list twice but only in the results once. Possibly votes for both “balls” suggestions counted towards it. Fair or not, this is what we got!

My first submission was Bad Ballsy Benchmark. I basically made it in a single night. What a regrettable idea. It’s possible there’s some value in it as far as browser and Java benchmarking is concerned, though there’s surely better tests out there.

My second submission was Unipop, which is about popping balls. It may or may not be heavily inspired by someone in the libGDX community and their Alice Poppins / Cone Pop game, plus the Bean Counters minigame from Club Penguin.
