How, Elmo, how? It’s quite simple, really. Through a chain reaction of sidetracking, I discovered there are no longer any working APK mirrors of it, and I have no interest in jumping through hoops to get it on Google Play again.
Ho ho ho ho, it’s References & Easter Eggs time again! What could possibly be hidden inside such a silly throwaway? Rather a lot indeed, it transpires!
In Just Wizards, there is and always has been a gallery containing 11 images. I’ll be digging into each image and what they truly all mean. Screenshots of each one are of course included within, and in some cases also links to screenshots of earlier versions.
There’s not a great deal to this game, but there’s still some stuff hidden inside that isn’t very obvious.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, I have created a pi generator (or, more accurately, adapted an existing one that I don’t fully understand).
Zippy Zombie Zebras features 20 backgrounds generated by Stable Diffusion (at stablediffusionweb.com, hence the 512×512 resolution – I don’t have a capable graphics card to run it locally and would rather not pay for a service). The non-zebra ones are real photographs.

I like to have references and Easter eggs in my games, but I’m pretty sure much of it goes unnoticed. So let’s just write about it. I plan to revisit the older games one day to write about them, but who knows when that’ll be.
