When I was graduating from university, I was offered one year of free membership with them, but I couldn’t find very much regarding whether people considered it worth joining. The only opinions I got were rather on-the-fence. So now that I’ve been with them for 11 months, I’d like to go into some detail of the whole experience and whether I’ll be renewing.
This is a follow-up to Goodbye, Twitter. When I used that website, I generally kept things short. You had to, with only 140 characters, later upped to 280. Even though you could chain multiple tweets together, it wasn’t ideal. Now it’s 4000 for Twitter Blue subscribers.
So let’s return to those days by keeping this post short. I just want to say: I’m glad I got out when I did.

I started with HostMonster, which seemed a bit expensive and limiting for what it was.
There have been some rumblings about Twitter as of late. From sacking half the staff based on lines of code written, making the remaining lot work 84-hour shifts, to enabling anyone to become verified for $8/month whilst promising free speech and posting right-wing conspiracy theories, Elon Musk has made the biggest splash in his first week at Twitter that possibly any company has ever seen.
