This is going to be my last one of these posts for a while. Well, it’s been over two years since my last one, so that might not be saying much. I’m fatigued of seeing AI slop left, right and centre and it’s reaching the point where it isn’t immediately apparent, which I have concerns with. Public sentiment of AI-generated material seems rather low, as well.

Dall-E Mega
Last year, I used Dall-E Mini to generate some nonsensical images from the titles of my itch.io pages. I decided to repeat the process, this time using Bing’s Image Creator, which is built on Dall-E.

Zippy Zombie Zebras features 20 backgrounds generated by Stable Diffusion (at stablediffusionweb.com, hence the 512×512 resolution – I don’t have a capable graphics card to run it locally and would rather not pay for a service). The non-zebra ones are real photographs.
Dall-E Mini
Dall-E Mini is the hot sauce at the minute, innit? So I fed it each of my itch.io titles to see if it’s a better artist than I am. To be fair, a title isn’t a lot to go off, and it failed miserably.
