Today, I went into Sainsbury’s for my Thursday Meal Deal treat. A wrap, Fanta and snack for £3.50. It’s not as if I think wraps are the greatest thing in the world, but they’re usually the most expensive item covered by the meal deal so it feels like good value even though it isn’t really. The £3.50 “deal” is just an upsell.
Goodbye, Netcup
Originally, javacakegames.com was hosted… well, I don’t remember exactly where it was hosted, but I’ve been through a few hosts in my time.
I started with HostMonster, which seemed a bit expensive and limiting for what it was.
Improving the KitKat mouse on Linux
In May 2021, I bought a KitKat mouse. I think Nestlé must have had some promotion at some point, during which you could get a KitKat-branded computer mouse, because they are very affordable and easy to come by on eBay.

Bread 2.0 released
I think we can all agree this loaf doesn’t deserve an update. But it got one anyway.
Sinking City Saviour: References and Easter Eggs
This post contains artistic nudity.

Floating Cities
libGDX Jam 21‘s theme was Floating Cities. And what better way to spit in the face of that than have some sinking cities? I certainly went a bit quackers with this entry!
Dall-E Mini
Dall-E Mini is the hot sauce at the minute, innit? So I fed it each of my itch.io titles to see if it’s a better artist than I am. To be fair, a title isn’t a lot to go off, and it failed miserably.
